I did initially try to do this using indesign, but i don’t have enough experience using that software and couldn’t figure out what I was doing so I deleted everything i’d done on there and used photoshop instead.
This made it a lot simpler and allowed me to experiment a bit more with the lines etc than I would have been able to do using indesign with such a lack of experience.
I wanted there to be some kind of texture to the logo initially and tried a few different things, the most promising one seemed to be this paper one but it didn’t exactly go very well in the end…
So it was back to the original, and i planned to just go down a similar road to the first logo and just make it a simple one without any texture but with some colour around the logo.
My next move was to begin looking at the lines, and the widths of them in specific places especially where the letters were.
I think this worked quite well and made the words stand out really nicely.
