Having found this organisation I was immediately interested, their website is beautiful, with impeccable photography to show the events and benefits of this organisation teamed with an equally good looking video. Its clear this organisation have some very impressive designers behind them and care a great deal about the way in which they present themselves to the public, it really gives a fresh face to this kind of work. They hold volunteer events on the final thursday of each month where potential volunteers can go to find out about the organisation and the kind of thing they would be expected to do as volunteers.
They have a very simple look to their website, its easy to navigate and easy to understand with any text simplified to important points. Their calendar is jam packed but full of things that could appeal to anyone of any age. This is a great trait.
The way in which these organisations present themselves to the public is very important, especially when they are tackling a topic like mental health. A modern approach to an old problem may be an interesting way to get people thinking about it.
Their blog is regularly updated with articles from individuals from the organisation, showing the strong link they have with the arts community within Leeds including Love Arts, Light Night, artists across Leeds, the Carnival etc.
They work with photographers and upload photos to their website which fit in with their ethos and look.
